Construction project design

Design, as one of the main stages in the construction of any facility, is a set of sequential processes that enables the achievement of the most efficient and optimal solutions. The importance of project development is explained by the necessity of making critical decisions at all stages of construction. We offer services for the preparation of design and cost estimate documentation for any construction projects in accordance with current legislation, norms, and standards, as well as coordination with relevant government authorities.

BIM – Building Information Modeling

With the help of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology, we create a complete database and a digital prototype of the construction object. The design technology we apply allows the client to view the object from all sides. We form and manage the data environment of construction projects throughout their entire lifecycle. Having such a project, the client gains full information about the facility not only during the construction phase but also during its operation.

Restoration works

In the preparation of restoration and conservation projects for cultural heritage objects as well as other existing structures, we carry out the development of design and cost estimate documentation in accordance with current legislation, using laser measurement, 3D documentation (fixation), and 3D modeling methods. The characteristics and condition of the existing structure determine the main content of the project in advance.

Author’s supervision

Author’s supervision is a type of construction supervision carried out to ensure that the technological, architectural, construction, and other technical solutions, as well as technical and economic indicators of commissioned enterprises, buildings, and structures, comply with the solutions and indicators specified in the project documentation approved by the client. Our specialists perform engineering supervision in accordance with the national standard AzDTN 1.5.3 “Rules for carrying out author’s supervision over the construction of enterprises, buildings, and structures by design organizations”.

Project adaptation

One of the services provided by BIMD is the adaptation of international projects to the legislation, norms, and standards of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This area is currently one of the most relevant issues in the construction sector of our country. When foreign companies present interesting and original projects, it is not always possible to implement them as they are. Our experience in this field, as well as our extensive network of partners, allows us to adapt such projects to the local legislative and standardization framework at a high level.

A-Z-GIS Geographic Information System

The A-Z-GIS Geographic Information System developed by BIMD company together with its partners includes tools for creating and editing digital maps, performing various measurements and calculations, overlay operations, creating 3D models, processing raster data, preparing graphical documents in both electronic and printed formats, as well as working with databases.

BIMD Joint Stock Company provides services in the preparation of design and cost estimate documentation for construction projects through the application of advanced modern technologies, as well as in design, restoration, author’s supervision, adaptation of international projects, laser measurement, and 3D modeling. From the first day of its operation, BIMD has set the goal of applying BIM technology in the design process and used this technology in its very first project. We create and manage the data environment of construction projects throughout their entire lifecycle. During its years of activity, BIMD has become one of the first companies in Azerbaijan to apply Building Information Modeling and laser technologies in the construction sector. Currently, BIMD company actively participates in competitions and projects related to the restoration of the territories liberated from occupation and has successfully completed the first phase of the restoration project of the Shusha Fortress, one of the pearls of our cultural heritage. BIM APPLICATION

BIMD is one of the first companies to implement BIM technologies in Azerbaijan. BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a unique approach to the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of a building. Information modeling covers the entire lifecycle of a facility, from the conceptual model to demolition works and the assessment of construction waste volumes.

At the client’s request, the level of detail (LOD) of the project can be adjusted. At the same time, 4D (construction sequencing and work schedule) and 5D (cost classification) functions can be added to the model.
