Transformation of the Former School Building into a Tourism and Hospitality Space

This building in the Basqal settlement, once used as a school, gradually lost its original function over time and fell into a neglected condition. In order to restore the building as part of the historical environment, it is planned to assign it a new hospitality function.

Within the framework of the new project, the building is planned to be transformed into a modern guesthouse where tourists can comfortably stay and spend their time. According to the project, guest rooms, laundry facilities, a café, and recreation areas will be created.

At the same time, workshop and exhibition spaces are planned to allow local residents to present their handicrafts and artistic works. This approach will contribute both to strengthening Basqal’s tourism potential and to preserving and developing local craftsmanship traditions.

In the future, the Guesthouse will become not only a comfortable and attractive destination for visitors to Basqal, but also a place that brings new energy to the social and cultural life of the settlement.
